Adding value to spanish exports

Casas de Hualdo launches new online store

Spanish olive oil company Casas de Hualdo recently launched its online store with a view to selling its extra virgin oils worldwide and strengthening its presence in international markets.

The company has adapted its e-shop, available in four languages, to the various countries where it operates: Germany, Austria, France, Ireland, the UK and Switzerland, and soon Brazil, South Korea and Mexico will join the list.

The company, which in the past has received several of the industry's top international awards, aims to reinforce its position in foreign markets after having increased its exports to 6,200 liters to a dozen countries during the 2012 season, up from 300 liters sold in Europe the previous year.

Casas de Hualdo's international shop also features a section with recipes where extra virgin olive oil is the main ingredient and a blog for olive oil fans, the goal of which is to promote the Mediterranean diet and respect for the environment and for tradition.
