Salón de Gourmets 2015, now in its 29th edition

Salón de Gourmets (SG), the international gourmet food and beverage fair, is getting ready once again to welcome international exhibitors and professionals. The fair will be held at IFEMA (the Trade Fair Institution of Madrid) from April 13th to the 16th.

At this event, which is a pioneer in its sector in promoting trends and exclusively caters to agri-food sector professionals, 35,000 products will be on display, almost 1,000 of which are new launches. There are many surprises planned for this edition, which will be sponsored by Estrella Galicia and Nespresso.

Madrid, which will be this year's guest region, considers Salón de Gourmet to be the perfect platform for raising awareness about its quality seal, "M Certified Product", which is used to distinguish the region's best products.

Government representatives will attend from all over Spain, including regions such as Aragón, Asturias, the Balearic Islands, Cantabria, Castile-La Mancha, Castile-León, Extremadura, Galicia, Navarre, Valencia, the Basque Country, and cities such as Almería, Ávila, Castellón, Burgos, Jaén, Málaga, Soria and Lanzarote island, to support the producers who make agri-food diversity possible in their respective regions.

The most cosmopolitan fair

This edition will have broad representation from outside Spain as well. The Country of Honor will be Portugal, and exhibitors and products will also be coming from Germany, Bangladesh, Colombia, Korea, Ecuador, the US, Finland, Greece, Poland, the UK, Argentina, Algeria, Canada, France, Italy and Switzerland, and will have their own pavilion.

The Business Center, the area where exhibitors are able to network and negotiate, has seen its expectations vastly exceeded. The organization has invited 85-90 procurement managers from leading foreign companies.
