Wiki Spanish Food editorial team

Just two months after registration opened for meat sector companies interested in participating in Meat Attraction, with a hectic schedule of presentations and organizing the fair space, Meat Attraction, the International Meat Industry Fair, had already exceeded 30% of the total fair space allotted in the previous edition. The fair will be held in IFEMA's pavilion 10 from September 17th to the 19th.  This news was announced by Raul Calleja, Director of Meat Attraction and IFEMA's Agri-Food Fair Department, following the initial distribution of spaces, held on April 9th.

The clear commercial focus on the domestic market and on exports, together with the Innovation Hub, Meat Week, Chef Factory, IbericoLand, the B2Meat product categories, the international guests who will attend, and Butcher's Day are some of the innovative proposals for this year's event. The goal is to bring together procurement managers from stores and supermarkets, traders, members of HoReCa, importers, etc. to create an international sales platform for the meat industry throughout the value chain.

Designated spaces for companies, organizations and grouped pavilions were allocated to those parties that had formally confirmed their participation. That includes producers of meat and meat by-products, such as ElPozo Alimentación, Famadesa, Jamones Aljomar, Faccsa-Prolongo, Grupo Tello, Grupo Jorge, Nutrave, Selectos de Castilla, La Comarca, Dompal and Montesano; ancillary companies and suppliers like Merck, Samarketing Aqualife, Scanio Systems, Foss, Taesa, Gimenez, Dinox and Jarvis; interprofessional associations and organizations like ANICE, ANAFRIC, AGEMCEX, ASICI, INTERPORC, PROVACUNO, INTEROVIC, CARNIMAD and INTERCUN; and institutional groups belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food such as Extremadura Avante, ICE in Castile-León, and the Regional Government of Castile-León, Mercasa and Mercamadrid, among others.

Going forward, all companies that decide to take advantage of this commercial and business opportunity offered by the leading meat industry fair in Spain should reserve their space for Meat Attraction 2019 at IFEMA. To do so, fill out the "Online Participation Request" (
