Meat Attraction starts to attract trade professionals

Meat Attraction, the meat industry's international fair, will open its doors for its 3rd edition from September 17th to the 19th. A total of 400 exhibitors and 20,000 professionals from 50 countries are expected to attend. The three-day event will include an intense schedule of commercial B2B meetings within the meat industry with events for the following groups: for the product area, domestic and international procurement managers, industrial food procurement managers, members of HoReCa, and meat product importers; and for the ancillary industry, directors of production and quality, engineering, plant and maintenance, research, and HoReCa.

All meat industry professionals can get their passes (here) to access Meat Attraction 2019 and be able to take advantage of all of the opportunities available at the fair. The clear commercial focus on the domestic market and on exports, together with the Innovation Hub, Meat Week, Chef Factory, IbericoLand, the B2Meat product categories, the international guests who will attend, and Butcher's Day are some of the innovative proposals for this year's event. The goal is to bring together procurement managers from stores and supermarkets, traders, members of HoReCa, importers, etc. to create an international sales platform for the meat industry throughout the value chain.

Meat Attraction has lots of tools to offer business opportunities, such as its expanded B2Meat program of meetings, with international buyers chosen by ICEX from 15 priority countries for Spanish exports; and the buyer's program, which allows exhibitors to directly invite contacts and potential clients, with Meat Attraction covering their travel expenses. The fair will also have special areas, such as IbericoLand, which will highlight Ibérico pork products; and the Eco-Organic Market, for organic meat and meat by-products.

This year's edition, where China will be the guest importer, will include a range of events and activities such as the 10th Global Ham Congress, the second edition of #Distrimeat, the European Meat Distribution Conference, Meat&Organic Congress (Meatic), and Conference on Industry Automatization and Digitalization, the Innovation Hub, the directory of new products and top products from fair exhibitors, the Accelerate Innovation Awards, and Factory Chef, the cooking demo platform.

Meat Week will be held in parallel, from September 13th to the 22nd, during which different activities will be held throughout Madrid to promote consumption and highlight the nutritional properties of meat. These events will culminate with Butcher's Day, on September 17th.

Meat Attraction is focused on promoting a broad campaign via the trade media throughout Europe, as well as online, and postcards will also be sent to procurement managers at supermarkets around the world.

They will also receive detailed information about the fair, the activities and services, and organize meetings with exhibiting companies.

Organized by IFEMA and ANICE (National Meat Processing Industries Association of Spain), Meat Attraction 2019 is expected to welcome 400 exhibitors and 20,000 professionals from 50 countries.
