Not long ago, fresh dairy products were a staple part of our diets, whilst meat was only consumed rarely.
Discover or rediscover the various fresh products you may find on sale in your shops and catering outlets... with a visit to La Crème de la Crème, the Dairy Products area created for the 2014 Cheese and Dairy Products Show in partnership with the National Federation of Dairy Products Retailers (FNDPL).
The aim of the show is to put French cheesemaking back in the spotlight.
Fine, fresh products made by cheesemakers, rigorously selected and produced in accordance with regional customs, using fresh milk, give some surprising results.
Almost 30 cheese and dairy products will be on display, each accompanied by a descriptive summary and a history of the product, so visitors can become truly informed about products ranging from crème fraîche to petits suisses as well as regional specialities, Fontainebleau and Faisselle. The Retailing Area will be hosted by cheese and dairy retailers during the four days of the event.
