Fruit Attraction 2018 is changing to a Tuesday through Thursday schedule, as opposed to Wednesday through Friday, mainly to expand and better leverage the amount of time available for doing business at the event. Thus, the 10th Anniversary of the trade fair will take place from Tuesday, the 23rd, to Thursday, the 25th of October at IFEMA, with opening hours from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on all three days.
This measure was adopted after an analysis of the results of the surveys filled out by exhibitors and international visitors at last year's edition of the trade fair. These results indicate that the most productive weekdays for doing business are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, as opposed to Monday and Friday, the days least valued by the participants.
The new schedule will make it possible to expand opportunities for encounters between suppliers and potential customers, maximising the cost-effectiveness of the investment made by the participants who attend Fruit Attraction as both exhibitors and visitors. The average time spent at Fruit Attraction is 1.7 days, and this measure will encourage people to make the best use of their time at the event, enhancing the quality and quantity of possible business meetings, maximising the time available for greater business interaction between suppliers and potential customers, by making visitor traffic more consistent on the three most effective days of the week for doing business.
As a result, Fruit Attraction 2018, organised by IFEMA and FEPEX, will be held in Madrid from Tuesday, 23 October, to Thursday, 25 October, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
