Embutidos y Jamones España e Hijos, a leader in quality cold cuts, continues to offer its customers what they want, which has yielded the broadest portfolio of products on the market. The company produces a wide range of hams, loin, and chorizo and salchichon sausages at its factories and drying facilities in Escalonilla and Gerindote (Toledo). Moreover, in recent years it has added many new products, allowing Embutidos España to offer an extensive selection of varieties catering to its customers' preferences.
The company aims to maintain the growth registered in recent years and to increase its market share of quality products adapted to market demands; accordingly, it must have appropriate facilities. "We currently have a cold cut factory and a ham drying facility where we produce our quality products. The former has capacity for 180,000 pieces while the latter has a capacity of 5 million kilograms per year, spanning 13,000 m2, with 23 drying rooms, 10 coldrooms, 3 packaging rooms and 1 physiochemical and microbiological laboratory," according to Miguel España, the General Manager of Embutidos España.
A total of 50% of annual production is ham, both Ibérico and Serrano, which are of the highest quality, in line with a brand that has the track record of Embutidos España. Around 30% of its hams are exported to more than 60 countries where the company operates, with the following breakdown: Spain (70%), other EU countries (18%), the Americas (8%), Asia (2%) and Oceania (2%), where consumers enjoy its products at small shops, and in particular in supermarkets and at restaurants.
The other 50% of production corresponds to loin and chorizo and salchichon sausages, both cured and Ibérico, and available in slices. The company has a wide variety of products which are popular among consumers and which are increasingly present in supermarkets in Spain and abroad.
The company also has a range of innovative products, which enable it to expand its catalogue year after year and provide its customers with every meat product imaginable.
