As in previous years, Segovian company Huercasa attended Fruit Attraction, and at this edition it presented its cooked carrot sticks. This new product is vacuum-packed to preserve the flavor and texture of recently-cooked carrots, just as they'd taste if you made them at home, due to the quality of the carrots used, pasteurization, and refrigeration during its three-month long shelf life.
Huercasa, which is a specialist in innovative vegetable products and a leader in Europe in fifth-range (i.e. pre-cooked) vegetable products, has added a new item to its catalogue which is easy and comfortable for consumers to prepare, maintains all of the carrot's properties, and has a longer shelf life than fresh products.
Huercasa's new carrot sticks are the perfect garnish for meat and fish, and can also be added to pasta and stews.
The carrots come in a 200-gram package, a size which is better adapted to the demands of new consumers and households, elderly consumers who live alone, single people and small families— households where a smaller number of servings are consumed each day and which require smaller packages.
Huercasa also presented Easy Eat at Fruit Attraction, a new product based on vacuum-sealed cooked corn on the cob, which has become a leader in the main European markets.
Its small size, measuring just seven centimeters, is more practical and easier to eat, as it can be eaten with your hands as a snack and is ideal as a garnish for all types of dishes. Easy Eat is perfect for all types of households, especially for children, given the size of the corncobs.
Huercasa also participated in the Pasarela Innova, where it presented its new products, and in Fruit Fusión, where it offered a cooking demo with original recipes using its main products.
