Fruit Logística 2014, the fruit and vegetable industry trade fair, will be held from February 5th to the 7th in Berlin. The three-day event will provide an excellent platform for starting new business projects and offer many opportunities for networking with companies from all over the world. Attendees will also be able to obtain an overall vision of the latest trends in the fresh product industry.
Spanish-speaking countries will play a key role this year, especially Argentina, which is the official partner country for 2014. According to Silvia de Juanes, head of communications for Spain and Latin America: “In 2013 alone, almost 500 of the 2,566 exhibitors at the fair were from Spanish-speaking countries. To put it another way, one in every five exhibitors was Spanish speaking.”
Fruit Logística, operating under the slogan Fresh Business Opportunities, has also found a voice on Spanish social media, with Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn profiles aimed exclusively at the Spanish-speaking public.
At the fair, which will attract producers, importers, exporters, distributors and professionals, 84% of exhibitors will close contracts. This will have a positive medium- and long-term effect on participating companies’ business volumes.
