Salón de Gourmets

The 27th edition of Salón de Gourmets will be held from March 10th to the 13th at IFEMA, Madrid's Trade Fair Institution. This international fair, which is exclusively for sector professionals, focuses on quality foods and beverages and continues to garner attention abroad, as evidenced by the progressive increase in the number of foreign exhibitors.

Salón de Gourmets, which was originally created to serve as meeting point for producers and consumers of high-end food products, has expanded notably to become the leading event for the gourmet segment.

This fair, which has maintained a focus on innovation and the future since its very first edition, includes fora, conferences, round tables, tastings, and other gastronomic activities. Notable events held as part of the fair include the Spanish Chef Championship, the winner of which represents Spain at the prestigious Bocuse d'Or international competition; the National Ham Carving Competition/Dehesa de Extremadura held in Spain, now in its 15th edition; the Wine Forum; V Gourmetquesos; the Tasting/Contest for Spain's Best Cheeses, and many other activities which continue to attract industry professionals and the media.
